The Details
Location: Inchinnan Business Park, Paisley.
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour.
Shift Allowance: An additional 25% shift allowance.
Salary Equivalent: £27,107.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating pattern (Early, Back, and Night shifts).
Duration: 6-month initial contract.
The Role
As a Level 1 Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents are met. You will:
Support the efficiency of processes and machines to meet schedule attainment.
Collaborate with team leaders, supervisors, and other departments to maintain high quality and service standards.
Work in a graded manufacturing environment, adhering to specific gowning requirements.
Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely.
Perform manual handling tasks that may involve standing for long periods
Who Are We Looking For?
Education: National 5 or better in Standard Grade Maths and English
Experience: No direct experience required as full training will be given. Relevant work experience is also considered a suitable alternative.
Background: This role is perfect for school leavers or anyone with a passion for the industry and a drive for continuous improvement.
Requirements: You must be comfortable working a rotating shift pattern and performing physical tasks safely.
