Job Title: Corporate Associate - M&A and Private Equity
Location: London
Experience Level: 2+ years PQE

Overview:

A leading US law firm in London seeking a Corporate Associate (2+ PQE) to join their M&A and Private Equity department. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, cross-border transactions alongside leading private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions. The firm provides excellent training, close collaboration with Partners, and a supportive environment for professional growth.

About the team:

The Corporate M&A and Private Equity team advises leading private equity sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions, delivering commercially focused, partner-led guidance. Recognised practice advising clients, ranging from start-up companies and global organisations ensuring varied diet of complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Advise on domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, including takeovers, carve-outs, joint ventures.
* Act as a trusted advisor to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, delivering tailored legal solutions throughout the investment lifecycle.
* Lead and support upper-middle market acquisitions, dispositions, and carve-outs, ensuring efficient execution and risk management.
* Collaborate across all practice areas globally.
* Work with clients across diverse sectors, including technology, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, and energy.

Requirements:

* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ PQE in the UK
* Strong experience M&A and/or private equity
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
