Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and proactive Temporary School Caretaker to join our client school's team immediately to help keep the school safe, clean, and running smoothly each day.
* Working hours: 7:30am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week)
* Contract type: Temporary (duration to be confirmed)
Key responsibilities include:
* Opening the school building each morning and ensuring it is ready for staff and pupils
* Carrying out daily checks of the site to ensure it is safe and secure
* Performing basic maintenance, repairs, and cleaning tasks as required
* Supporting the wider premises team with general caretaking duties
* Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
* Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
* Have experience in a similar caretaking or facilities role
* Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
* Take pride in maintaining a clean and safe school environment
* Be able to work independently and use their initiative
