Working with a wide range of clients that include charities, retail, construction, food chain, care homes, farming and agriculture with turnover ranging from £100 million to £10 million and £1 million (charities).
Responsibilities
* Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
* Run and execute audit assignments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
* Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and resolve queries.
* Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and VAT submissions.
* Ensure timely completion of all accounting and audit tasks to meet deadlines.
* Support junior team members with guidance and technical advice.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of changes in accounting and audit regulations.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to their implementation.
Qualifications
* A qualification or part‑qualification in ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
