Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of drinks and addressing any customer concerns or requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change
* Process card payments accurately using the POS system
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
* Have the ability to swap between working on the bar and floor on a shift by shift basis
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and serve customers in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure proper handling of beverages and ingredients
