Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and materials handling, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency.
Duties
* Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and other machining processes using CAD software.
* Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
* Conduct materials handling and manage tooling efficiently to maintain workflow.
* Troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers and machinery during production runs.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Experience
* Strong experience as a CNC miller – programming, setting, and operating
* Proficient in Fanuc controls
* Experience with (or willingness to learn) OneCNC CAD/CAM
* Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Competence in using hand tools and basic tooling knowledge is essential
