Band 8- 9 - £34,434 to £40,777 per annum (subject to qualifications and experience and pending pay award) Full time 37 hours per week Based at the Guildhall, Gainsborough (with provision to work from home regularly) Essential Car User Allowance included. We are looking to appoint an Environmental Health Officer on a permanent basis who is either fully qualified or working towards achieving this. The role will focus mainly on food safety and will contribute to ensuring that our regulatory obligations are met within this work area and across the wider environmental health function. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and enable the Council to enhance the work that we do to address poor food hygiene and health and safety standards. Alongside this the role will help to ensure that food premises and other businesses are provided with advice and guidance to enable them to maintain and improve standards. There will also be an opportunity to work on other environmental health related work areas as required.
