We currently have a permanent, full-time Clinical Deputy Manager opportunity available in our client\'s Glasgow Care Home. This is a permanent position, working for a respected Care provider who offer the highest standards of care to their residents. The service offers care for residents with a varying range of medical conditions.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their well-being, and assisting in their medical needs. Your expertise and dedication to nursing will contribute to the overall health and happiness of the residents.

Requirements
* Fully qualified Nurse with a current NMC Registration & NMC Pin
* The right to live & work in the UK
* A minimum 2 years 3in post" experience
* A working knowledge of ECP (electronic care planning)
* An Understanding of National Care Standards & Codes of Conducts
* A commitment to providing a standard of care that exceeds both company and industry standards
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and develop staff members
* Adaptable to your environment & change
The Role
* Provide management and leadership to a team within the care home. They will be responsible for ensuring all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed and that high quality, person-centred support is provided for all supported individuals. They will ensure support teams have the skills and competences required and will provide a developmental focus for practice. The Deputy Care Home Manager will ensure that all regulatory and contractual standards are met and exceeded.
* Ensuring that the care home is appropriately represented and working in effective partnership with key local service providers, including local NHS bodies and Social Work departments. The Deputy Care Home Manager will act as an ambassador for the organisation.
* Ensuring good communication channels are established and maintained to facilitate new referrals and joint working.
* Responsible for managing staff and delegated budgets in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures. Key to the job is adopting a proactive approach to achieving a positive, engaging, promotional and relationship building role with Local Authorities and all other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Manage and co-ordinate day to day activities within the service
* Ensure that all services are delivered within the company\'s core values and in line with the Company\'s Policies and Procedures
* Ensure that services meet and exceed standards set by regulatory bodies, including National Care Standards, NICE standards, NMC guidelines, SSSC guidelines, and contractual obligations
* Deploy staff to maximise cost efficiency while meeting service needs
* Undertake administrative tasks related to staff records, management returns, and maintaining records
* Monitor all financial matters relating to the service in accordance with finance policies and procedures; contribute to budget management and take corrective action as appropriate
* Liaise with external professionals, individuals and families to review needs and develop plans
* Ensure effective referral protocols to enable timely responses to new demands
* Share on-call responsibilities and provide flexible support cover in emergencies with the Care Home Manager
