Scheduler - Reading, Berkshire, RG2 6ADContract: PermanentSalary: This role will be paid from 26,000 up to 29,000 per annum depending on skills and experienceThis is a busy and fast paced role where youll help keep our field teams organised and supported throughout the day. Youll work closely with technicians, planners and managers to make sure work is scheduled efficiently, emergencies are responded to quickly and customers continue to receive a great service.What youll be doing as a SchedulerManaging the in-day schedule for field technicians and making sure workloads are balancedScheduling emergency and priority work within required SLAsWorking closely with planners to maximise completion of planned maintenance activitiesSupporting technicians with updates, alarms and changes throughout the dayReviewing outstanding work and helping to reduce delays or manual interventionCommunicating with field teams, managers and planners by phone and email to keep operations running smoothlyBase location: Reading, Kemble Court hybrid with the minimum of 2 days in the officeWorking hours: 7:30 am to 3:30 pmWhat you should bring to the rolePrevious scheduling, planning or operational support experienceStrong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills both over the phone and in writingAbility to work under pressure and make informed decisions quicklyGood teamwork skills and ability to build relationships with operational teamWhats in it for youThis role will be paid from 26,000 up to 29,000 per annum depending on skills and experience24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 with the length of service.
