Overview
Mechanical Assembler – Location: Fareham. Hours: Mon - Thurs (07:00 - 15:30) Fri (07:00 - 12:30). Salary: £30,400, plus benefits, Overtime Available. No visa sponsorship is provided for this role.
Responsibilities
* Assembling and testing niche temperature sensor components for a high-profile aerospace programme
* Mechanically building parts and components to precise specifications and engineering drawings
* Setting up jigs, fixtures, and equipment for assembly and testing
* Working to manufacturing standards, safety protocols, and production deadlines
Qualifications / Skills
* Experience in performing manual assembly operations
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, fitter, or similar position
* Previous experience in an automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing environment
* Experience of Manufacturing Operations within a safety-critical environment
* Review engineering drawings and apply best practices to project standards
