The Role

We are working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Leeds who are seeking adaptable and reliable teachers to step in, maintain continuity of learning, and provide a calm, structured classroom environment.
Whether you’re looking for one day a week or a full timetable, we will match you with schools that suit your preferences and teaching style.
What Your Day Might Look Like
* Delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities may be available)
* Managing behaviour with confidence and consistency
* Building positive relationships quickly with students and staff
* Providing clear handover notes to support continuity

What We Are Looking For
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
* Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management
* Ability to adapt quickly and work confidently in new environments
* A positive and proactive approach
Safeguarding and Compliance

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
* Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
* Two professional references covering the last two years
* Full employment history with explanations for any gaps
* Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
