Hays are currently recruiting for a leading technology-driven organisation who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is a working week, with standard hours being 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. This role is predominately office-based, however flexibility is offered. Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across finance operations. You’ll lead transformation initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the delivery of accurate management accounts and audit readiness.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Lead finance transformation projects to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy
2. Identify automation opportunities and implement improved controls
3. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with robust financial insights
4. Review management accounts and oversee operational finance activities
5. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or possess equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in financial reporting and operational finance. You’ll be confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strongmunication skills are key, as you’ll be collaborating across departments and supporting junior team members.
