We are looking for one full time enthusiastic and motivated Public Health Staff Nurse 0 19 to join our Purbeck Team based in Wareham. This is a fixed term post for 12 months. The core team hours are 09:00 17:00 with no weekend working. (Part time hours will also be considered).
You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions and packages of care to people on an allocated caseload; promoting independence and autonomy; working within a multi-disciplinary team.
You will have advance own clinical knowledge, skill and competence based on current evidence through educational programmes.
You will evaluate care, taking appropriate action leading to improvement in quality standards through clinical audit, and contributing to root cause analysis and dealing with complaints.
You will provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical support to students and junior staff in the team.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
