Overview
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Swim Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality swimming lessons in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment, helping swimmers of all ages and abilities build confidence, skills and water safety awareness. Duties
* Deliver structured, engaging swimming lessons suited to each swimmer's ability and development.
* Demonstrate correct swimming techniques and water safety skills clearly and safely.
* Supervise swimmers during lessons, offering feedback, encouragement and support.
* Maintain a professional, safe and organised poolside environment in line with health and safety standards.
* Communicate with parents or guardians about swimmer progress where appropriate.
* Support lesson planning and activities that promote enjoyment, progression and confidence.
* Ensure all swimmers follow pool rules and safety procedures at all times.
Experience & Requirements
* Must hold a recognised Swim England or STA registered swimming teaching qualification.
* Previous experience teaching swimming or sports coaching is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate swimmers of different ages and abilities.
* Knowledge of water safety principles is essential.
* Lifeguard and/or First Aid qualifications are ideal but not required (training can be supported).
* Friendly, professional attitude and enthusiasm for helping swimmers progress.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required.
