We're looking for a skilled and motivated joiner to join our Voids Team, helping us bring empty properties back into use quickly and to a high standard. You'll carry out a variety of joinery tasks, working alongside other trades and contractors to ensure homes are safe, secure, and ready for new tenants.
Based at Hazel Court, you will be responsible for completing joinery repairs and refurbishments in void properties across the city. You'll work closely with colleagues in Building Services to deliver high-quality work that meets our safety and quality standards.
Working hours are 08:00–16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00–15:30 on Friday, with the possibility of participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
About You
You'll be a qualified joiner with experience in domestic property repairs and refurbishments. You'll take pride in your work, be reliable, and work well both independently and as part of a team. A commitment to customer service and safe working practices is essential. A full UK driving licence is required.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level B2: Can adjust to the changes of direction, style and emphasis normally found in conversation. Can produce stretches of language with a fairly even tempo; although they can be hesitant as they search for patterns and expressions, there are few noticeably long pauses.
