Our client is seeking ambitious Procurement Consultants to join their team and contribute to a range of projects within the infrastructure sector.
You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate within multi-sector teams and lead procurement activities on some of the most vital projects and programmes that are shaping the future of their economy and environment. This role also provides an excellent platform for you to further develop your leadership capabilities, both within the team and on cutting-edge projects.
The ideal candidate will be highly client-focused, and possess the confidence and expertise that comes from working in a consultancy environment on comparable infrastructure projects.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing multiple procurements for complex construction and infrastructure projects under Public Contract Regulations (PCR/UCR/PA23), from early market engagement through to contract award.
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while consistently achieving outstanding results.
* Expertise in collaborating with diverse project stakeholders to understand objectives, identify risks and opportunities, and propose delivery models, market routes, and commercial strategies aligned with client ambitions and industry standards.
* Proficient in engaging with the market to assess trends, gauge appetite, identify opportunities and risks, and contribute valuable insights to client organisations.
* Adept at identifying areas for improvement or innovation, sharing best practices, and implementing lessons learned effectively.
* A strong understanding of standard-form contracts such as FIDIC and NEC would also be an advantage!
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with a proven capability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Previous experience within a consultancy environment, or comprehensive knowledge of the consultancy model.
* Confidence in managing teams and delegating tasks efficiently, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.

Salary: £50,000 - £90,000
