What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be right at the heart of the Van Trading team, supporting the Head of Van Trading to drive profitable growth and keep us ahead in an increasingly competitive market. Expect plenty of variety and a real opportunity to make your mark.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and delivering trading strategies to optimise revenue and profitability
* Analysing high-volume trading and performance data to spot trends, patterns, and opportunities
* Working closely with Pricing, Insurer Relations, Distribution, Operations, Finance and more to align trading activity with wider business goals
* Partnering with the MI team to enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI tracking
* Managing and reviewing our trading footprint to maximise return on initiatives
* Presenting clear, compelling insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modelling
* Proactively identifying opportunities to grow the book and improve profitability
* Monitoring competitor activity and customer behaviour to support tactical decisions
* Supporting the Head of Van Trading across all aspects of product management
What You’ll Bring

You should have:
* Experience within UK Financial Services
* A solid understanding of FCA regulations, particularly GIPP reforms and Consumer Duty
* Strong analytical capability with genuine enthusiasm for data and insight
* Excellent Excel skills and confidence with data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred)
* Experience handling large datasets and complex information
* The ability to translate insight into practical, impactful strategy
* Background in trading, insurance, or broader financial services (highly desirable)
* A self-starter mindset, curiosity, and the drive to make a meaningful impact
