We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to working for a leading maintenance provider, on a commercial site in Saffron Walden, Cambridge.
Working for a highly respected maintenance provider, you will be supervising a team of Maintenance Engineers while ensuring the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance. You'll also keep the client and account manager updated on progress, so clear communication and a professional approach are important.
For this role the client will look at either electrically or mechanically qualified supervisors (City & Guilds or NVQ) and have a solid, multi-skilled background in building services maintenance.
Duties:
* PPMs & Reactive maintenance
* Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
* Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
* Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
* Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
* Organising subcontractors
* Completing logbooks and RAMS
* Reports
* Conducting client meetings
* Ensuring the account manager is kept up to date on a regular basis
* Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works. xcswzye

* Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or mechanical engineering
* Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
* Building Services Maintenance experience
* Career driven and motivated

Salary and Benefits:
* £50,000 per annum
