Your new companyYou will be joining a successful family-owned business based in Peterborough as they look to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a part-time basis. Individuals that we have placed in the business previously have spoken of a warm, positive and welcoming culture.Your new roleWith the finance team rolling out a new electronic invoicing system, your primary focus in this role will be to upload any additional manual invoices, process payments or take them from customers and deal with any supplier queries. The role is predominantly focused on purchase ledger but you will be responsible for supporting across the wider finance team too. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will need:
* A good working knowledge of accounts payable processes
* To be a team player, as the small team nature means you will need to support beyond purchase ledger at times, including general admin and taking calls
* Good computer literacy
* To be able to work 20 - 25 hours a week across a minimum of 4 days
