Join Our Team: Rapid Response Crisis Worker
Are you passionate about helping others?
We're looking for flexible, compassionate, and committed people who want to make a meaningful impact every day.
About us:
At Independence Support (ISL), we deliver vital in-reach support to individuals experiencing mental health crises across A&E departments in Cheshire and The Wirral. Our dedicated team plays a key role in supporting NHS services, ensuring people receive safe, compassionate, and professional care during times of crisis.
As a Rapid Response Crisis Worker, you will:
* Provide one-to-one support and supervision for individuals in A&E awaiting mental health acute beds.
* Deliver 136 observations services in line with NHS requirements
* Escort and support patients being transferred between wards or hospital sites, working alongside NHS transport services.
* Driving NHS secure vehicles
* Offer additional support to staff on acute inpatient mental health wards when required.
You will work across all four hospital sites:
* Leighton Hospital (Crewe)
* Macclesfield General Hospital
* Arrowe Park Hospital (Wirral)
