Are you a skilled automotive technician looking for something beyond the traditional shop? Long-Lewis of Hoover is hiring Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing team — a unique opportunity to bring top-quality service directly to our customers at their homes or workplaces.
This full-time role offers competitive flat rate pay ($20–$45/hr) and the chance to take your career on the road while still working within a supportive, high-performing team environment.
What You’ll Do
* Travel to customer locations (homes/worksites) in a fully equipped company vehicle
* Diagnose and perform on-site repairs or maintenance services
* Advise customers on next steps for more complex issues, if needed
* Work on a wide range of makes and models
* Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
* Represent the Long-Lewis brand with pride and excellence
What We’re Looking For
* 1+ year of experience in dealership or high-volume repair facilities
* Strong knowledge of various makes/models and solid diagnostic ability
* ASE Certification
* Ford and/or Lincoln FSA Certifications are a plus
* High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary auto training is a plus
* Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Must be able to work independently, efficiently, and communicate effectively
* Professional appearance, customer-first mindset, and a strong work ethic
* Physical stamina to meet the demands of an on-site, hands-on role
Compensation
* $20–$45 per hour (Flat Rate), based on experience and certification
