* Contract Type: Permanent
* Hours: 18 hours per week
* Shift Pattern:
o Wednesday: 11:30am – 1:30pm
o Thursday: 10:30am – 1:30pm
o Friday: 8:30am – 11:30am
o Saturday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
o Sunday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Rate of Pay
* £12.60 per hour (Wednesday to Friday)
* £13.10 per hour (Saturday and Sunday, includes team leader duties)
* Paid monthly
Role Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team at Diageo Leven in Fife. This is a dual-function role for someone with strong catering experience and the confidence to lead weekend service. You\'ll support weekday operations and take responsibility for weekend delivery, making this an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step up and take ownership.
Role Responsibilities
* Supporting food preparation and counter service
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all catering areas
* Providing excellent customer service to all site staff and visitors
* Working independently and using initiative during quieter weekday shifts
* Leading the catering service on weekends in the absence of senior staff
* Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards
The Ideal Candidate
* Has experience in a catering environment (essential)
* Has team leader or supervisory experience (essential for weekends)
* Is confident working independently and directing others
* Has a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
* Is reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards of service
