We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, caring and motivated nursery practitioner. The preferred candidate will be qualified to minimum of level 3 (BTEC, T level or NVQ equivalent in Early Years)(If you are currently level 2 and nearing the end of your level 3 and feel you could be an asset to our team please apply). Candidates should also have a grade C/4 in Maths or functional skills. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 years previous experience within a childcare setting. If you have a teaching assistant qualification or health and social care qualification you must be willing to undertake relevant early years training and qualifications.We are looking for a practitioner who can work as part of a team but who can use their own initiative. The practitioner must have experience undertaking observations and fulfilling keyworker duties, planning activities, working in line with the EYFS statutory requirements and development matters, practitioners must be committed to safeguarding children. Knowledge of the EYFS is essential.We are a small rural nursery, we are portage accredited and work hard to support all children. SEND experience desirable as we often work with a range of other professionals implementing specific support strategies.The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced DBS check, suitable references and a 3 month probationary period (references will be sought from your current employer using the DfE early years reference template, including your most recent early years employer or placement if applicable).The successful candidate must have a permit to work legally within the UK and hold full and relevant early years qualifications.
