Job Description
Hays Senior Finance are recruiting a qualified Financial Accountant job for a recognised professional services firm in Liverpool. The company offers significant home-working and free parking. This role reports to an experienced Group FC and then a senior Finance Director. As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining strong financial controls, producing high-quality financial information and liaising with external organisations such as banks, auditors and regulators. This is the perfect role for someone moving from Audit. Key duties will include:
* Year End - prepare year accounting pack and statutory accounts for multiple companies - FRS101
* Support the Group FC with the Group consolidation - IFRS
* First point of contact for the audits
* Month End - bank reconciliations, monthly capital expenditure reports, balance sheet reconciliations
* VAT returns
We are keen to speak to qualified accountants who are looking to make their move out of audit with a right to work in the UK and a commutable distance from Liverpool. This is a very flexible employer but they do need an office presence.
