Job Title: Female Support Worker Reporting to: Team Leader Hours: 37.5 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:50am-4:20pm Locations: Christchurch, Dorset
Important Note
Due to the current demands on the service and to meet the specific care needs of the individuals supported, we require a female Support Worker for this role. This requirement is in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Role Overview
We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. You'll be part of a supportive environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent day-to-day care and support
Encourage individuals to engage in new activities that promote confidence and independence
Assist with all aspects of personal care
Drive company vehicles and act as an escort when required
Administer medication (once appropriately trained) in line with policy
Maintain accurate records of daily activities and support provided
Follow all organisational policies and procedures
Ensure training is kept up to date
Participate in regular support and supervision sessions

Basic literacy and numeracy - Essential
Full UK manual driving licence - Essential
Experience
