We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing regional contractor operating within housing maintenance, facilities management and construction. Due to business growth and a recent vacancy, they are looking to appoint an experienced Bid Writer to join their Business Development team. This Bid Writer role is a varied and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to work across construction bids ranging from £250k to £6m, supporting both building maintenance and project delivery divisions. While the focus is bid writing, there will also be an element of bid coordination and tender management. Key Responsibilities Bid Writing & Coordination Write high-quality qualitative responses for bids and tenders, working closely with delivery, estimating and operational teams for technical input. Manage and update the bid content library, ensuring all information is current and compliant. Collate and prepare selection questionnaires (SQs) and tender submissions to meet strict client deadlines. Coordinate bid activity to ensure timely, accurate and compliant submissions.Tender Administration Maintain bid schedules, trackers and databases. Set up tender folders and manage bid documentation.
