Overview
Community Safety Manager at Places for People. The role focuses on managing anti-social behaviour cases, tenancy fraud and domestic abuse, and collaborating with external partners to deliver a high standard of service within our communities.
Responsibilities
* Manage anti-social behaviour cases, tenancy fraud and domestic abuse.
* Work closely with safeguarding teams and local policing teams to protect communities.
* Prepare and conduct legal paperwork by gathering appropriate evidence, issuing court applications and providing legal advocacy with full training and guidance.
* Take responsibility for enforcing tenancy conditions and investigating community safety issues as they arise, to maintain safe and pleasant neighbourhoods.
Essential criteria
* Experience of dealing with anti-social behaviour
* Good understanding of the Housing Act and anti-social behaviour
* Experience handling an anti-social behaviour case load
* Willingness to travel within Hull and surrounding areas; valid driving licence and access to a vehicle; mileage and travel expenses paid in line with group policy
You will be covering Hull and surrounding areas; travel may be required.

More about you
Experience in housing management and/or a good understanding of tenancy agreements, housing law, and DA case management is preferred. Managing anti-social behaviour experience is advantageous. You should have a genuine passion for the housing sector and supporting vulnerable people, with the ability to manage your own workload, work independently, and pay attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are essential to support customer relations both internally and externally and to create effective relationships with colleagues and external agencies.
Note: This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
