Locum Property Legal Officer – Full-Time – Hybrid Working – 3+ Month Contract – Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella) – East Midlands
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Property Legal Officer to join a Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Legal Officer to join a friendly and established legal team.
The Role
Role: Locum Property Legal Officer
Working Arrangement: Full Time, Hybrid working (1-2 office days per week)
Rate: Up to £30 per hour umbrella
Responsibilities
* Drafting and completing leases for commercial sites
* Handling surrenders, leases, licences, and tenancies
* Preparing and completing auction packs
* Assisting with a range of property-related transactions
* Supporting the wider team with legal research as required
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience working within Property Law, ideally within a Local Authority or public sector setting
* Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills and the ability to support a wider legal team
