Wellbeing Lead (Clinical Lead) - “Lead Clinical Wellbeing. Transform Lives. You will champion early intervention approaches that reduce reactive demand while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care across services. Benefits include: 33 days annual leave (FTE) pro-rata for part-time Buy and sell holiday Free life insurance Cycle2work scheme Attendance reward Free use of on-site gym Up to 9% employer pension contribution (5% employee) Blue Light Card discounts Enhanced maternity & paternity allowance Role Details: Role : Wellbeing Lead (Clinical Lead) Type : Permanent Hours : 37.5 hours per week Salary : £47,900 per annum Location : Binley Business Park, Binley, Coventry, CV3 2SN What will you do as our Wellbeing Lead (Clinical Lead): Link with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to replicate its core role promoting high professional standards amongst our Wellbeing Advisors (registered nurses) Link with the Resuscitation Council and remain aware of and share current guidelines and research Promote and share the work of the Wellbeing service to external organisations for the benefit of ExtraCare and the impact of integrated retirement communities Maintain and develop the Wellbeing app, and Wellbeing related Customer Portal data with support from the Digital Transformation team Monitor the findings of the Customer Insight data, making locations aware of changes in data which deviate from a Corporate or Annual target or highlight a success Respond to queries related to health and wellbeing escalated from location to head office Audit the Wellbeing service once per year, highlighting areas for improvement and points of excellence Contribute to the success of the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) in ExtraCare by providing nursing expertise, assisting locations to feel supported and educated in GSF processes Maintain the objectives of the Wellbeing and Clinical Supervision Policy Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that impact the wellbeing of our residents Clinical To always work within the professional NMC guidelines for practice and behaviour To keep abreast with national and local clinical guidelines and frameworks and maintain clinical skills and awareness in conjunction with the role To attend the quarterly clinical nurse meetings for professional support and to update knowledge and skills Supervision and Management Participate in the recruitment and induction of Wellbeing Advisors and Health Care assistants Organise x 4 clinical meetings per annum for the Wellbeing team Ensure that the clinical supervision needs of the Wellbeing team are met Support the re-validation of all registered nurses within ExtraCare Arrange and support Continued Professional Development training for the Wellbeing team Healthcare Student Placement Leadership Lead the development and oversight of the Healthcare Student Placement programme Maximise placement capacity and utilisation across locations Ensure high-quality supervision and learning experience Promote ExtraCare as a leading placement provider in health and ageing Person Specification: Experienced clinician with expertise in managing older adults, including frailty identification and long-term condition management. Knowledgeable in primary care pathways, referral processes, and committed to ongoing professional development and clinical audit. Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, effective interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative approach to MDT working. Able to work autonomously, manage a caseload, prioritise risk, and appropriately escalate when needed. Competent in IT systems and handling sensitive information with discretion. Resilient, diplomatic, and non-judgemental, with a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable older adults in community settings. Registered Nurse (Adults) with current NMC registration. Demonstrates post-registration professional development in community health or primary care Specialist training to master's degree level (or equivalent) in Community, District, or Practice Nursing desirable.
