As Fleet Operations Manager, you will be crucial to our operations, responsible for engaging with key fleet stakeholders and providing excellent service. Leading a team of 6 to 8, you will collaborate to define operational demand and growth, ensuring customer satisfaction in service levels, quality, timeliness, and cost management. You will proactively manage resource availability and skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate across Fleet and Operations to communicate issues and solutions for smooth operations.
* Schedule work effectively within the workshop estate and keep customers informed.
* Manage operational aspects of the vehicle fleet and customer relationships.
* Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
* Monitor and control transportation-related expenditures to optimize costs.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Ideal candidates will have experience managing fleet or transport teams, with strong leadership skills, knowledge of fleet processes, safety regulations, and excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions. Understanding KPIs, regulatory targets, audit processes, and possessing commercial awareness are essential.
