Responsibilities
* Approve Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&D) deliverables and lead the resolution of F&D problems through the use of appropriate methods.
* Be responsible for the technical scope of projects, providing guidance to F&D Engineers and suppliers.
* Liaise with Chief Engineers, F&D Seniors, Principals, and the Technical Authorities.
* Support the development of less experienced team members on both technical and behavioural aspects.
* Collaborate with Process, Methods and Tools (PMT) and Digitalisation departments on 1A transformation projects.
* Implement automation and optimisation tools and processes on current and near-future incremental developments.
Qualifications
* Hold or be very close to holding the approval signatory in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&D) analysis.
* Have experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques.
* Have good knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques.
* Have a structural analysis background, particularly in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance.
* Have an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
* Be willing to develop and lead less experienced team members (technical and behavioural).
