Role Summary
Awakn is offering a 2-month paid Data Analysis Internship for individuals based in Newcastle who are eager to gain practical experience in analytics and AI-powered business solutions. This remote internship is designed for students or recent graduates looking to develop technical skills while contributing to live projects under expert mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets for analysis.
* Use Excel, SQL, and Python to explore and analyse data.
* Support the creation of dashboards and visual reports to communicate insights.
* Conduct market research and identify data-driven trends.
* Assist consultants in applying findings to real business challenges.
* Document analytical processes and maintain clear project records.
Required Qualifications
* Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
* Proficiency with Excel and basic knowledge of SQL or Python.
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively while working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
* Previous experience in data analysis, either academically or professionally.
* Understanding of basic statistics or predictive modelling.
