About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Enfield from September. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal History Teacher will inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a passionate History Teacher.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
* Develop students' understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead history-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.
* Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Inner London Payscale.
