Job Summary
Within the Silicon verification team, the silicon verification engineer is responsible for verification activities to ensure high-quality silicon delivery, supporting the company's objectives.
The Team
The verification team, part of the Silicon design group, ensures that RTL created by the logical design team matches the architecture specifications for Graphcore silicon.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Verification activities within the verification team
2. Ensuring effective communication between sites
3. Verification planning, specification, and coverage closure
4. Providing feedback to architects
5. Test generation and failure diagnosis/triage
6. Contributing to shared verification infrastructure
Candidate Profile
Essential
* Verification experience in relevant industry
* Proven leadership and planning skills
* Highly motivated, self-starter, team player
* Ability to work across teams and programming languages to identify root causes of complex issues
* Experience with verification in CPU and/or ASIC environments
* Skills in SystemVerilog, Python, C++, Linux
Desirable
* UVM, SVA, Assembly languages
* LLVM, GCC, DVCS (e.g., Git)
* DRMS (e.g., SGE)
* XML, XPath/XSLT
* Web programming: HTML/DOM, JavaScript, SQL
