About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Systems Administrator to manage, support, and enhance a diverse IT infrastructure spanning on-premises, Azure, and AWS environments. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, security-focused environments and enjoys solving complex challenges while driving automation and efficiency.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant — working closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to maintain and continuously improve infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, maintain, and enhance hybrid infrastructure (on-premises, Azure, AWS).
* Resolve incidents and service requests efficiently, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
* Implement and maintain monitoring, patching, and automation solutions to improve system performance.
* Manage identity and access across all environments following security and compliance best practices.
* Conduct and remediate vulnerability assessments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
* Support audit and compliance activities with clear documentation and control reporting.
* Collaborate with security and IT teams to strengthen configurations and support incident response.
* Continuously assess and adopt new technologies to improve infrastructure resilience.
What You’ll Bring
* Hands-on experience managing or supporting hybrid infrastructure (Azure, AWS, on-prem).
* Strong understanding of virtualisation and cloud technologies.
* Experience in system administration & patching
* Knowledge of scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
* A service-focused, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
* Exposure to compliance, audit, or cyber security environments.
* Certifications such as AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Security+, or ITIL Foundation.
