As a member of the EMEA Sales team for HPC and AI, the Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships with prospects and resellers within the region.
The role focuses on growth within the UK and beyond, seeking new business opportunities to acquire new clients. A strong hunter mentality, high motivation, and determination are essential.
You should be a team player capable of working independently, with a positive attitude, a ‘can do’ approach, and willingness to go the extra mile.
With recent acquisitions, we continue to offer cutting-edge solutions to the global media market. Previous experience in the M&E industry is vital to start effectively.
You will report to the Solutions Artilect Director and collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and marketing teams.

Duties:
* Identify and qualify prospective customers in the region
* Work directly with prospects and through resellers to generate new business
* Manage meetings with end-users and resellers independently
* Collaborate with the Sales Director, Solution Architect, and other GTM resources
* Ensure resellers/partners are active, engaged, and meeting revenue targets
* Support resellers in closing opportunities with relevant information and marketing materials
* Conduct cold calls, seek projects, and respond to RFPs for new customer acquisition
* Run lead generation campaigns to deliver meetings and opportunities
* Present DataCore products and value propositions to HPC and AI prospects/end-users
* Represent DataCore at local events, trade shows, and forums
* Meet sales quotas and KPIs, provide weekly revenue forecasts, and quarterly evaluations
* Travel within the region (~25%)

* Understanding of the HPC and AI industry
* Hunting sales mentality with goal-oriented drive
* Strategic thinking for short-term and long-term gains
* Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills

Education/Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional education
* 2-5 years of field sales experience in HPC and AI
* Knowledge of HPC and AI technologies
* Understanding of cloud and SaaS models (beneficial)
* Experience presenting and negotiating with C-level executives
