We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join Styx Play Gallery Café as a Front of House Volunteer. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, creating a warm, welcoming experience while supporting events, exhibitions, workshops, and café operations in our vibrant arts and community space.

Time commitment:
Minimum 10 hours per week, over at least 3 months, on Wednesdays – Saturdays, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm. Flexible shifts within these days.
What's involved:
As a Front of House volunteer, you'll:
* Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and informative way
* Take bookings and answer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Handle ticketing and shop sales using the computerised till system
* Serve drinks and simple food, assisting with café operations
* Ensure the reception and café areas are tidy, organised, and inviting
* Maintain adequate stock levels and presentation of shop and publicity materials
* Assist during events, exhibitions, and workshops to create a friendly, engaging atmosphere
* Support visitors with accessibility needs as appropriate
* Help maintain the security of the café and gallery space
