About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development through play, activities, and care routines. You'll work closely with other team members to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
2. Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
3. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
4. Monitor and record children's development and progress
5. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
6. Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Requirements:
7. CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
8. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
10. A warm, caring, and patient nature
11. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
