Online Trade Executive FTC
We are looking for an Online Trade Executive FTC to join our Online Trade team here at Harrods. This role is responsible for supporting a data‑driven merchandising and trading strategy, optimizing the online customer journey, and collaborating with Buying, Marketing, and Digital teams. This is a fixed term position.
About the Role
The Online Trade Executive will be critically assessing and suggesting optimisations to the online selection based on commercial opportunity, trending moments and competitor benchmarking, as well as monitoring weekly and monthly trade performance, analysing key metrics such as sales, demand, conversion rates, AOV, and returns.
Job Responsibilities
* Supporting the Trading Assistant with the implementation of on‑site actions such as price changes and visual merchandising updates.
* Identifying and suggesting opportunities to maximise conversion, increase basket value, and enhance discoverability through effective product placement.
* Reviewing and suggesting improvements to the customer journey, UX, and site navigation to enhance engagement and conversion.
* Act as a mentor for the Online Trade Assistant, ensuring knowledge on best practices in digital operations is shared.
About You
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a proactive approach, able to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and support the Trade Manager with implementing solutions that improve performance. They should be commercially driven, highly analytical, and detail‑oriented, with a strong understanding of online trading, digital merchandising, and e‑commerce KPIs. You will also have:
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Experience in sales reporting, performance analysis, and forecasting.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
* A keen interest in retail, luxury, and brand positioning within the market.
