General Practice Alliance (GPA) are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to join our team and help us share the story of GPA. You\'ll play a key role in shaping how we communicate with our employees, stakeholders, and patients, ensuring our messaging is clear, engaging, and impactful.

Responsibilities
* Lead on digital and social media content, newsletters, marketing materials, and employee and stakeholder communications to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful messages.
* Support events and campaigns, showcasing GPA\'s work and initiatives.
* Organise and manage content across GPA\'s digital platforms to strengthen internal and external channels and support growth and brand development.
* Translate clinical and operational information into clear, accessible messages for practices, stakeholders and patients.
* Use Canva and other software to create professional marketing materials; liaise with suppliers for printing and merchandise needs.
* Assist with planning and delivery of quarterly company meetings and events; identify venues, catering, and set agendas.
* Engage in project catch-ups and 1:1 meetings with the Service Development Manager; attend relevant meetings and contribute as needed.
* Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation by managing workload, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery with minimal supervision.

Person Specification
Essential
* Highly effective communication skills, both written, verbal and listening, appropriate to the audience.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent knowledge of Office 365 (including SharePoint and Teams) and adaptability to new systems/software, such as content management systems, Adobe products, Monday.com or equivalent.
Experience
* Experience in planning and delivering marketing and communications projects.
* Experience in gathering and analysing stakeholder information to shape messages for internal and external audiences.
* Experience in reactive and proactive management of social media channels.
* Experience in generating new in-house media content using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, ideally with a background in marketing, media, or communications.
