Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential to continue in September)
Pay: £92.63–£106.52 per day (depending on experience)
A welcoming and well-established primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team for the Summer Term, with the opportunity to continue into the next academic year from September.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Early Years education and enjoys supporting young children at a crucial stage of their development, helping to build strong foundations in learning, communication, and social skills.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils within Nursery or Reception classes
* Assisting with early phonics, language development, and basic numeracy
* Helping to deliver engaging, play-based learning activities
* Supporting children with routines, transitions, and personal development
* Encouraging positive behaviour, social interaction, and independence
* Working closely with teachers and EYFS staff to create a nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Educator:
* Experience working within EYFS (Nursery or Reception) or a similar setting
* A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
* Understanding of early child development and learning through play
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with young children
* Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification desirable but not essential
* Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young learners
