Job Description:
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs are required in Somerset / Bristol.
Multiple positions are available, and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.
We aim to transform the quality of education for young people with SEN, SEND, SEMH needs, MLD, and SLD.
We seek passionate SEN / SEND tutors eager to work with vulnerable learners in a creative, flexible, trauma-informed manner to improve their educational outlook.

The role:
* Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Supporting children referred by authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional development
* Delivering holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Responsibilities:
* Planning sessions
* Delivering engaging, needs-based support
* Completing reports and progress feedback
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* At least 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD
* Safeguarding knowledge and experience
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK
It is essential to promote health, safety, and wellbeing in all work with children and young people.
Employment details:
* Engagement as a Worker, providing short-term placements
* Paid via PAYE, no set hours or expenses
* Insurance coverage provided
* Not a self-employed position
