Salary: £30,000/£38,000 + Package
Location: South Yorkshire
Our client a general contractor who work within the South Yorkshire region on both Public and Private sector, on schemes ranging in value from £50K - £3m are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist the Site Manager in coordinating daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and according to schedule.
Supervision: Oversee construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Resource Management: Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, while monitoring budgets and costs to prevent overspending.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and issues, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
Communication: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
SSSTS or SMSTS
CSCS Card (Gold or Black)
1st Aid certificate
