Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Planner on a 9 Month Contract based in Rugby.
Role Summary
The Marine Defence Project Planner will deliver project planning and scheduling activity for a key programme in Power Conversion & Storage Marine Defence business. This role is critical to ensure the program is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will work within the Planning and Controls team, liaising with project, engineering and sourcing teams to ensure alignment on project schedules, milestones and deliverables whilst maintaining compliance with marine-specific regulations and security protocols.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Higher levels of UK Security Clearance, including “SC Clearance” and “UK Eyes Only Clearance”, are required for this role. The candidate must have existing SC clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance. British citizenship with a valid British passport and no dual nationality is a requirement.
- Significant experience in project planning and scheduling and risk management:
* within high-security and/or marine industries.
* for complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and
cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
Desired Characteristics:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage
internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with security standards and protocols for working in restricted environments,
including those relevant to marine and defence sectors.
