Prefer a flexible hybrid setup with just one day a week in the office?We are thrilled to be supporting an established, fast-growing, PE-backed organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. They are hiring a Financial Accountant to join their fast paced, supportive finance team. This company has a great culture and truly put their employees at the heart of everything they do. You'll support both UK and European entities, lead statutory audits, prepare tax and statutory filings, and contribute to international reporting and wider group initiatives. You'll also have the opportunity to support ongoing M&A activity and various exciting projects.This is a hybrid role (one day in-office) for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys a broad remit with plenty of autonomy.This role comes with an annual salary of up to £55,000.Key responsibilities include:
* Managing statutory audits across multiple entities
* Preparing statutory accounts and supporting tax pack submissions
* Producing VAT returns and partial exemption calculations
* Maintaining the fixed asset register
* Overseeing intercompany accounts and ensuring timely settlements
* Supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations in line with IFRS
* Submitting PSA documentation and other group reporting as required
