An exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a highly efficient and talented team managing international payrolls.
What you'll be doing
As Payroll Manager, you’ll join our friendly team to ensure our 3000+ staff get paid accurately and on time. This unique opportunity offers generous professional development while managing UK, US, Canada, French, Czech, and Australian payrolls— including benefits, shares, and pensions.
1. Oversee and assist with the administration of the end-to-end pay cycle across 5 international payrolls.
2. Work closely with the People Team to ensure accurate payroll output of SLAM processes & benefit contributions.
3. Serve as the key point of contact for our managed service payroll provider—monitor SLA & KPIs.
4. Lead operational support on ad-hoc projects aligned with strategic priorities set by senior management.
5. Ensure compliance of contingent workforce engagement as a stakeholder.
6. Monitor employee global mobility and report to relevant authorities as necessary.
7. Act as SME for answering escalated queries and troubleshooting issues.
8. Develop team members by sharing knowledge and supporting senior management with compliance and governance obligations.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of UK and international end-to-end payroll, excellent IT skills, and great attention to detail. You will bring extensive operational experience in payroll and people management.
Proven track record in project participation at various career stages is desirable.
CIPP qualifications are preferred, along with US payroll experience and understanding of the challenges faced by a globally mobile staff base. Knowledge of IR35 and local equivalents is a plus; Dayforce HRIS experience is ideal.
* 5+ years experience in payroll administration, with at least 2+ years in management.
* International payroll experience.

This role can be hybrid from our Bath Office (three days in-office, two remote) or fully remote within the UK.
