Mercer Marsh Benefits seeks a talented, business facing, business focussed, Product Owner. Based in our London office, you will own a single product, at the start of a high profile, new multi-year global project. With responsibility for the product build, together with our MMB Analytics Director, you will be accountable to key project and business sponsors, providing regular, accurate and concise reports and progress updates to monitor success. What can you expect? As the sole Product Owner for the MMB Analytics team, you will have the freedom to support the team in managing, driving value, defining product strategy, and ensuring timely delivery of our key Plan Design product. Together with our Analytics Director and collaboratively working with Commercial and Technology teams, the wider Product team and across the business, you will also ensure best practices are maintained and issues, progress communicated, ultimately enabling the development of our product at a global level. What you need to have: Experience of or ability to be the sole Product Owner for a product of significant value Experience, knowledge and talent in Product ownership and delivery, ideally in SaaS. Experience of successfully delivering products, ideally of great value and/or at Global scale. Strong communication skills with confidence to challenge, make decision to collaborate and communicate compelling messages to key stakeholders across the business. Ability to develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and senior leadership. What makes you stand out: Ownership of products with multiple workstreams across business, functional and technical teams. Awareness of the value and impact analytics can provide within a business and the wider market. Knowledge of market research, analytics, and relevant technologies. A proactive work approach with ability to analyse and think quickly to find solutions. An interest in or understanding of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) We will rely on you to: Own and execute the end-to-end strategy for a key MMB Analytics product, including, but not limited to, reviewing business cases, priorities, requirements and the roadmap. Work with the Analytics Director and project sponsors, to execute on the long-term roadmap of the product. Handle complex issues with minimal supervision, working with the Project Manager to deliver the product efficiently. Proficiently capture and summarise stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes, working with Business Analysts and the Scrum Master to convert these into Epics and User Stories. Work collaboratively with a delivery team of Data Engineers and Analysts to design and deliver a product that provides the insights required for the business and stakeholders. Identify improvements to business processes, using new technology or methodologies where required.
