Overview
At Wade, we deliver high-value construction management, HSE compliance, and specialist consulting services, with a focus on the pharmaceutical and GMP sectors. We’re a growing SME with big ambitions — building a strong reputation for expertise, delivery, and thought leadership. We’re now looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to take ownership of our marketing activity, grow our brand presence, and help generate high-quality leads.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and executing marketing campaigns that position Wade as a trusted authority and drive new business opportunities. This is a full-time, doer-focused role — ideal for someone who loves creating content, designing engaging campaigns, and managing day-to-day marketing activity, while also contributing to our broader strategy as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Write, design, and publish content across LinkedIn, email, and web (blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, case studies).
* Manage our ActiveCampaign CRM: build campaigns, segment audiences, design templates, and report on performance.
* Create and maintain a content calendar aligned to business goals.
* Produce case studies, insight articles, and whitepapers showcasing our expertise in construction, pharma, and compliance.
* Support development of videos and visual content (client stories, training promos, explainer clips).
* Manage and grow Wade’s LinkedIn presence, including company and leadership profiles.
* Develop sales collateral (brochures, pitch decks, one-pagers).
* Track campaign performance and report monthly on leads, engagement, and ROI.
* Contribute ideas for lead generation strategies and paid campaigns.
About You
* 3-6 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Professional qualifications (e.g., CIM, IDM) are highly desirable but not essential.
* A strong communicator with excellent writing and design skills.
* Confident using LinkedIn, email marketing platforms (ideally ActiveCampaign), and basic design/video tools.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
* Commercially minded — you understand that marketing’s role is to generate leads, not just likes.
* Experienced in B2B marketing (construction, consultancy, or pharma experience is a plus but not essential).
What We Offer
* A chance to shape and own marketing within a growing consultancy.
* Direct impact — your work will be visible and make a measurable difference.
* Competitive salary (dependent on experience).
* Opportunity to grow into a senior strategic role as the business scales.
* Company Pension
* 26 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays
* Parking close by to office, located in Darlington Town Centre
* Salary £31,000.00
