Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Engineers
Building Services consultancy that is being developed to focus on Low and Zero Carbon solutions and estate decarbonisation as well as RIBA stage 1-6 engineering solitons for a broad range of clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Kingston Upon Hull for Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Engineers. Responsibilities include designing and specifying mechanical and electrical building services systems, conducting feasibility studies, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with other team members and stakeholders. Additional duties include ensuring project compliance with industry standards and regulations and performing site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. Working with apprentice and Junior engineers to develop their skills and mentor them on path to suit the company needs.

This may include building client relationships, establishing new service offerings, leading technical disciplines, or developing sector-specific capabilities. The successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to grow their own portfolio of work, directly influencing revenue growth and playing a key role in the continued expansion of the consultancy.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Mechanical or Electrical engineering principles, systems design, and building services engineering
* Experience with CAD software and building modelling tools preferable
* Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
* Ability to conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and develop detailed technical drawings
* Strong communication skills for effective coordination with teams, clients, and stakeholders
* Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferable
* Chartership or working towards professional accreditation (CIBSE, IMechE, or similar) is advantageous
* Experience in sustainable building designs and energy efficiency measures is a plus
* Experience of managing clients and developing business and future work
