Immediate Vacancy: Qualified and Experienced Early Years Practitioner
Due to our expanding numbers, Sunflowers Childcare C.I.C. is seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our established and very busy setting from February 2026.
Hours:
40 hours per week
Between 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Permanent contract
Rate of Pay:
N L W,with additional remuneration depending on experience and qualifications.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· A full and relevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above
· A DBS certificate on the Update Service(DBS can be reapplied for if required)
· Basic Food Hygiene Certificate(can be updated)
· Paediatric First Aid Certificate(can be updated)
· Safeguarding Children Certificate(can be updated)
· The ability to demonstrate responsibility, flexibility, and initiative
· Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and child development from birth to 5 years
· Strong experience with online learning journeys and observation writing
· Knowledge of H & S legislation, Ofsted standards, and other relevant regulatory bodies
· A clear understanding of working with children and the role of a Key Worker
